"Box is a net-based workspace, which allows us to share files as we conduct our business" — John O'Neill, CUNY – Hunter College

Give teams a productivity boost

The way we work today is faster and more global than ever before. Box helps teams thrive in the new business environment, collaborate across multiple timezones, and change gears more quickly by centralizing all documents, discussions, and approvals in a single online workspace. No matter where you are or what time it is, with Box you'll be on the same page as the rest of your team.

Capture all project content in one easy-to-manage, shared online workspace.
Assign tasks and add additional context by adding comments on files.
View only the latest version and lock files during editing.
Receive updates when team members edit, review, or upload new files.

How does it work?

Creating a shared online workspace

Create a project folder and invite all your team members. Organize your content into sub-folders such as Meeting Notes or Research. As files are uploaded, downloaded, or edited, everyone on the team gets notified through the Updates tab and email, increasing response time and decreasing the lag from concept to finalized content.

Putting an end to email overload

Keep everyone in the loop. Instead of sending an email, post feedback, requests, and other communications in your shared online workspace. When you find a website or a news article that everyone should review, add a bookmark to the Research folder with your comments on what's interesting about the link. Bring discussions into your workspace - including project updates and check-ins, shared task lists, and virtual brainstorm sessions. No more searching through email for approvals, or missing crucial updates because someone left you off the list.

It appears that your firewall may be blocking Box.net or you are encountering an error.

Please contact your IT administrator to configure your firewall to recognize all sub-domains of .box.net and .boxcdn.net. The ports that should be opened for these domains are 80 and 443.

If that does not resolve the issue, then please submit a support ticket at http://www.box.net/help.
